Lincoln Drive Modes
Normal Mode- Normal mode is best for everyday driving, balancing comfort and performance. This is the default setting between ignition cycles.
Conserve Mode
- This mode is used to maximize vehicle mileage with more efficient settings.
Excite Mode
- This mode increases throttle response for sporty driving. It also increases steering feel, offers quicker shifting, and a stiffened suspension. The transmission also holds gears longer to accelerate faster while shifting.
Slippery Mode
- Used for less than ideal conditions, this mode lowers throttle response and optimizes shifting to navigate roads in snowy or icy conditions.
Deep Conditions (If Equipped)
- Used for terrain such as deep mud, sand, or snow to give you the most traction possible.
Slow Climb (available on Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package)
- Allows the vehicle to safely and securely navigate steep terrain.
Grand Touring Specific Modes
Pure EV Mode
- This puts your vehicle in all-electric mode.
Preserve EV Mode
- This mode runs your engine to preserve electric driving range for later use, while also utilizing the engine and motor to deliver full performance when needed.
